The ISDA at 50 and Continued Fight for Tribal Resources: Contract Support Costs and the 105(l) Lease Program

10:00 AM-12:00 PM

PANEL 1

Unpack the complexities of the Indian Self-Determination Act (ISDA) implementation as panelists explore how this decades-long fight for resources has played out in litigation over secretarial amount funding, the 105(I) lease program, and contract support costs. This panel will offer considerations for in-house counsel advising their tribes on whether to contract and how to take advantage of recent funding opportunities if already contracting.
