Avey Menard (they/them) holds a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, and is presently a staff attorney at the UW Native American Law Center and a member of Equal Justice Works' Class of 2025 Design-Your-Own-Fellowship cohort. Their fellowship focuses on providing support and assistance for the development of Tribal law. Additionally, Avey is developing a clinical program at the University for qualified law students to gain supervised experience addressing and meeting Tribes' code drafting needs.
