Denise Turner Walsh currently serves as the Attorney General of the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians located in north San Diego County, California. Attorney General Turner Walsh was appointed and sworn into office on January 20, 2012. She is the first woman and Rincon Band member to serve the Tribe in this capacity and brings more than two decades of experience representing tribal governments throughout the Pacific Northwest and California. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly known as UC Hastings College of the Law). She is admitted to practice law in New Mexico, Oregon and California.
