Caleb Dogeagle

Caleb Dogeagle is the Solicitor General for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, which is headquartered near Onamia, Minnesota. He additionally serves as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Minnesota. Mr. Dogeagle is an enrolled member with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and earned his Juris Doctor and LL.M from the University of Arizona in the Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program. Mr. Dogeagle sits on the Minnesota Commission on Judicial Selection, which makes recommendations to Governor Walz for judicial appointments. He previously served as legal counsel to the Three Affiliated Tribes, the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara. He has additionally served as a summer clerk for the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe’s Legal Department. Mr. Dogeagle is a board member to the Rural Renewable Energy Alliance and board chair for Native Governance Center.
